Trips

GIFT’s educational reach extends to social action trips to Eastern Europe, in particular, the Ukraine. Visiting a number of sites in the Kiev and Anatevka, the trip offers an opportunity for university students to gain perspective about other regions of the world and to participate in supporting the disadvantaged in the local community through volunteering initiatives set up by GIFT such as:

• Planting trees
• Collecting food and facilitating its distribution to needy families
• Helping out at a children’s home for children in the welfare system
